How to make pattern paper of blade

[How to make]
At first deside thick of every blade.
Make ground plan by "Kousakuyousi"(one of hard paper in Japan).



Cut out every blade



About big blade.
Cut off inside of ground plan.


Cut aout "Lion Board(Koyo Soft Board)" matching form of inside.
Thick of "Lion Board(Koyo Soft Board)" is half of decided thick of blade
Big blade is 20mm thick,then Cut out 10mm thick "Lion Board(Koyo Soft Board)".

"Lion Board(Koyo Soft Board)" is sold only in Japan.
(It's Japanese EVA board.Details are here.)
There are similar things in except Japan.
"Wonderflex", "Evazote", "EVA form", "EVAboard", "Craft form" are similer things used by world cosplayer.
Search details by Google.
-10mm

Make blade thin as it approaches tip.
Srice it and slant.


Stick matching mark with double sided tape.


Other blades are made similarly.


How to make edage of blade.
Let a midium blade be an example.


Make medium blade Pattern paper.

Serve gap from end of "Lion Board(Koyo Soft Board)" to "Kousakuyousi"(one of hard paper in Japan) with Drawing paper.


Paste Drawing paper cut small.


Cut left over place.


上記作業の繰り返しで一通り刃を埋める。
Repeat the above process and fill up gap.


Peel Drawing paper, when fill up all.
Make a fair copy with new Drawing paper.


Cut out fair copy.


Fill up again.


If there are gap, adjust.
When you make ideal form, it be formal Pattern paper.


Other blade are made similarly.


Paste some Drawing paper cut small  in hard curve.


Pasting some several.


Complete.
